Terms of Service

By accessing or using the Oyela platform ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

Oyela is a psychometric assessment platform that provides relationship and family diagnostics using the Family Systems Engineering (FSE) framework. The Service includes assessment packages, AI-generated reports, couples comparison features, coach directories, and related tools.

You must create an account to access most features. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.

Oyela assessments are educational and informational tools based on the FSE coaching model. They are not clinical or diagnostic instruments. Results and AI-generated reports should not be used as a substitute for professional counseling, therapy, or medical advice. If you are experiencing a crisis, please contact a licensed professional or emergency services.

When you invite a partner to participate in a couples assessment, you represent that you have obtained their consent to receive the invitation. Score-level comparison data will be shared between linked partners; individual item-level responses remain private.

Certain assessment packages require payment. All payments are processed securely through Stripe. Prices are displayed before purchase. Refund requests may be submitted within 14 days of purchase if you have not completed more than 50% of the assessment modules.

All content on the Oyela platform, including assessments, scoring models, reports, and the FSE framework, is the intellectual property of Oyela and its licensors. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without prior written consent.

Coaches and practitioners listed on the platform are independent professionals. Oyela provides a directory and certification program but does not employ these individuals. We are not responsible for the advice, services, or outcomes provided by any coach or practitioner.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts or systems
• Share assessment content, questions, or scoring logic publicly
• Misrepresent your identity or impersonate another person
• Use automated tools to scrape or harvest data from the platform

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Oyela shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to reliance on assessment results or AI-generated reports.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our discretion if you violate these Terms. You may also delete your account at any time by contacting support.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
